For this assignment, the instructions were to choose two inanimate objects to help create story. The story consisted of 15 different shots and angles all which were taught to us in a previous lesson.
Me and my partner decided to use my stuffed animal and a miniature backpack to create a first day of school storyline with my stuffed animal/plushy. By making it into a school storyline we could use many places in our school to film the stuffed animal. We made a shot list including all the shots and content we were going to film. We filmed all of our shots in the school and them put them all in a PowerPoint slideshow chronologically to create the story. In addition to the pictures, their was a short sentence explaining what went on in the scene.
I believe me and my partner did an excellent job in creating the shot list and taking the shots themselves. The shot that stood out to me was the medium shot of Plushy getting a pencil from her backpack. My favorite touch in specific was the miniature backpack we used for the stuffed animal, it was so cute and a unique touch that helped with our story to make it feel more real. My only critic is that we could of added a conflict (Plushy forgetting her homework or surprise pop quiz) to make the story a bit more engaging. Overall, I couldn't be happier with how it turned out!
